Indigo color palettes

Indigo is the deep blue-violet of natural dye vats, one of Newton's seven spectral colors and the traditional shade of Japanese workwear. Dark enough to substitute for black in text and backgrounds, it carries more mystery and richness, and it glows beside parchment, gold and faded denim blues.
