Gold color palettes

Gold is the warm metallic yellow of coinage, gilt frames and award seals — shorthand for wealth, achievement and ceremony across nearly every culture. In flat design it behaves like a saturated ochre, working best as an accent against deep neutrals such as charcoal, navy or forest green, where a small amount reads as luxury without tipping into gaudy.
